Shipping and removal of goods:
All property is to be packed, shipped or transported at the risk and expense of the purchaser. As the buyer, you are responsible for shipping and handling. As a courtesy, the auction house has made arrangements with a variety of third party shippers to provide shipping quotes for you. All property must be paid for and removed from Christiana Auction Gallery within 15 business days of the auction unless special arrangements are agreed upon in writing before the sale. Storage fees are charged beginning on day 15. Once your invoice is paid, the shipping process begins. A separate credit card payment to the shipping company will be necessary. We also highly recommend insuring your items for their full value during shipping. Christiana Auction Gallery will not be held liable if your items are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.
To request a shipping quote, please contact one of our recommended shippers below. Both domestic and international buyers are highly encouraged to request shipping quotes prior to bidding.
The Shipping Release Waiver form must be filled out and signed before your package will be released to the shipper. Once the release waiver is signed, please allow 5 to 10 business days for items to be dropped off. Once items are dropped off, The UPS Store will be in contact to verify shipping information and to collect payment. For items that require freight, please contact Craters & Freighters of Philadelphia for a quote.
Customers who wish to use our in-house shipping option are not required to sign the release waiver. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for quotes and to arrange shipping with our in-house shipping service.
